There is an appealing story to the Cambodia casinos that lie just across the dividing line from nearby Thailand, in which gambling hall gambling is not permitted. Eight casinos are based in a generally tiny location in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort contains three hundred slots and seventy gaming tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 one armed bandits and 96 table games, including 87 baccarat (the most beloved game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five one armed bandits and 66 of the normal gaming tables, as well as 1 table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the 8 gambling halls in Poipet, again in a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machine games and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of a comprehensive resort and hotel building that features many luxuries aside from the casino, which contains 10,000 square feet of one hundred and thirty slot machines and 88 tables.
